You
may notice, when reading the stories, that one or more calls out
to you because it is so linked to where you are in your journey
at this time.
If you have the opportunity to be physically present with the
StoneCircles you may also find it helpful to touch them, hold
them, try them on and wear them for awhile. Yet, when all is said
and done, it may be something much less obvious, something much
more subtle that attracts you or calls out to you. You may find
that the one that feels like it belongs with you is far from what
you would normally choose.
The stones have vibration and emanations that are more subtle
than we are used to. Listen for their cues. Give them a chance
to call to you, to choose you as well. Let mystery be part of
your process whether in person or over the Internet. The power
of Mother Earths support is literally grounded in the earth.
It is also much grander and more profound than the physical dimensions
we can measure with our five senses.
CHOOSING
STONES FOR OTHERS
The same principles as above apply with some additions. As you
consider stones for someone else, hold that person in your "heart-mind."
Listen and choose from that place.
WORKING
WITH NATURE
Variation in stone sizes and color shades are to be expected.
Since each piece is made by hand, what
it looks like or how it varies from the one in the photo depends
largely on what stones are available at the time it is made. What
does not change are the design principles and the integrity behind
them.
Like roses in bloom, each is different. And each is perfect in
its imperfections.
ALLOWING
FOR MYSTERY
Having said that, I have made "mistakes" when stringing.
In one case, I left a very small stone out on one side. At first
I thought I needed to restring the entire necklace. Then I decided
to simply take a small stone out of the other side as well to
see what it would look and feel like. It was one that had not
especially attracted me in its "perfect" form. Before
starting over, I tried it on. I could feel immediately that it
was for me. In this altered form. Ah! It is not a mistake at all.
When I first began making StoneCircles for others, I liked to
know who the person was before I made the necklace. It was fun
to hold the person meditatively in my mind while I strung the
stones. Then one day in the midst of another "mistake"
I realized that I was in touch with the future owner at
a non-linear, subtle, or soul level. I remember how the StoneCircles
journey has not been linear for me so far... why would I try to
shoe-horn it into a linear box now?
In your StoneCircles journey trust in the invisible and trust
in the unfolding of non-linear mystery is requested of you as
well.
